Created by a Veterinary Student, Pawfile increases trust between Veterinary Practices and their clients; empowering Pet Owners to take charge of their pets health and allowing Veterinarians to save time and stress by connecting directly with clients.
The Problem
Veterinary Medical Records are centralized to the hospital where they were formed. When a client takes their Pet to another clinic for After-Hours or Specialty Care, these records may be unable to be sent or arrive slowly. This leads to stress, redundancy and a poorer quality of care for our pets.
Solution
Pawfile utilizes the Blockchain to create a secure way to upload and store Medical Records. With Pawfile, secure and trustworthy Medical Records can be stored and shared with any Veterinarian or Pet Caretaker. The Records follow the owner and are available wherever you are.
Position
As a Start-Up Company, Pawfile is working to revolutionize Medical Records Empower Pet Owners and Advancing Veterinary Medicine. We are currently taking part in a pitch competition to help us move forward and begin creating the software. Feel free to contact us to learn more or get involved!
Vision

The age of Pet Wearable and Smart Tech is already here. The market is increasing and that is only considering RFID, GPS and Sensors. Smart Tech such as food/water bowls and smart litter boxes, can advise and alert an owner about changes in habits that could indicate early disease. By connecting this data to Pawfile, a Vet no longer has to hear “I am never home so I don’t know” and instead can pull up the Pawfile and visualize the trend. This will usher in Data Driven Vet Medicine like never before. Owners will be able to grant access to their Pets’ Medical Records providing researchers a wealth of information to track trends and recognize genetic links. Lifetime studies could be easily performed on all pets of any breed vastly increasing our understanding of our pets and disease process to exponentially improve our own, and our pets lives.
Pawfile will fundamentally change Veterinary Medicine, and provide a blueprint for democratizing Human Medicine. As well as providing valuable medical information that could help in the diagnosis, treatment and understanding of human diseases.
